Raber High School, library offer band performances

CITY, State (June 12, 2008)--Raber High School Band performs at Raber Public Library July 25 through July 27 to raise support and awareness for the homeless in the community.

Raber High School Band will perform a variety show of small ensembles featuring contemporary arrangements, classics and from popular musicals.

Tickets are $10, available from the Raber High School office and the Raber Public Library.

Evening performances take place at 7 p.m. on July 25 and July 26. A matinee performance on July 27 starts at 3 p.m.

Raber Public library provides shelter for the homelss. The library works to assist and raise awareness about the local homeless patrons.

The library also has a hat and mittens box near the entrance, which have been donated by a local knitting group.

Business cards are printed with phone numbers and addresses for the local homeless shelter, food pantry, public transportation, family intervention, mental health services, temporary job services, etc.
